We talked about some educational
bills that have passed, but are not fully implemented.
We will be tackling those and learning more
about what we can do during the
Vote Nevada Summer Civics Festival: Celebrating
Direct Democracy. This event is hosted by
ACLU of Nevada & Vote Nevada. LVABSE is looking
forward to this event. Make sure you are there!

Former Assemblyman Munford
Assemblyman Munford stopped by COS
to discuss the work he did on AB 234.
AB 234 is a Multicultural Education bill that
was passed, but not fully implemented. In honor
of his work and legacy our goal is to get this bill
fully implemented. Assemblyman Munford
has a wealth of knowledge and historical
information that is necessary to know now and for
our future generations.

We would like to update you on a few things That have happened and will be happening. Senators Neal and D. Harris Sponsored Bill Senator Neal reached out today about SB 327. This bill is regarding discrimination; Prohibiting certain types of discrimination relating To race in employment and education. Some new language Has been added to that bill. Check it out....
